So my car overheated and broke down yesterday March 22nd 2018 and I went in to have the car looked at and was told that it could be a leak in the cooling system somewhere or bad water pump. I was informed that all the staff had over 30 years of experience and was informed not to worrie about finding the problem and what not. This is where it started to go bad. I have a aftermarket insurance policy on the car and when I ask if they can work with me and my policy it was like pulling teeth out of them. They were trying to knowledge me that this was not covered and this wouldn't be and that would be but they had no say so in what was or not. It was like they were really not having it, me and my insurance policy and really made me feel uncomfortable about it all. If it wasn't due to heavy rain and my car over heating I would of left right there and then and still wrote them this bad review. Let's continue on anyways, so they inform me it will be $125 for diagnosis look and 1st hour which is a high price right off the bat when knowing a 1st hour of work is usually around $90 not $125 but like I said heavy rain and car overheating not much of a choice plus needed to get car back on road asap for work. They told me if then can detect the problem in 15 minutes they'll only charge me that and see where we go from there. Long story short it turned out to be a bad raidiator cap they told me after well spending over hour off fooling around with my car. They should of tested the cap which let me state they said " All my employees have well over 30 years plus experience" but they decided to check that last and it wasn't a raidiator cap it was the reservoir tank cap of they know these radiators now in days are all enclosed and no cap like the old days on cars and trucks. Well I walked out of there $153 dollars later for some lost antifreeze and a reservoir tank cap. I was really mad and for them to not check the cap 1st with all staff well over 30 years under belt. I feel like they screwed me good and when I ask to have them cut me a break on that $125 they looked at me as if I was stupid and said why? They were all older men and maybe they don't like dealing with younger guys n girls well probably girls but not dudes because they treated me like a turd. Let's follow back to my whole experience... so when I asked them to cut a break the got mad and was tossing stuff around and tone of voice and body language said it all that he was pissed off at me. Still he should not act like that at all... professional you have to be when working with everyone. I specifically ask that to them because I saw two other invoices on his desk where you pay and talk about you issues about your car and one said $1.00 for service look at because someone went in there thing there head valve covers were leaking and they did the full overview inspection on not just that but the whole car and only was going to charge them a $1 & a other said $6.97 for some similar over look of a car a customer brought in. Here I'm thinking they could of checked the cap 1st thing and would of walked out of if the car seem to run right after replacing and I wouldn't have spend $153 on something I could have done myself for well under $50. Most money I've ever paid in my life for reservoir tank cap. Snakes In The Grass Is All I Can Say For Them & I Will Never Go Back Or Will I Send Any Family or Friends To Them.
